Splitface Units

County Materials' Splitface Block are integrally colored concrete blocks with a beautiful, rough hewn texture on one or more faces. With their pre-finished texture, Splitface units offer cost savings in one-step installation.

Splitface units are available in a mulititude of standard or custom colors and a wide variety of shapes and sizes. The consistent color and texture of County Material's architectural masonry units will allow you to blend several colors and textures of block to provide an unlimited palette of permanent texture and color.

Split faced units have a natural stone-like texture produced by molding two units face-to-face, then mechanically splitting them apart after curing, creating a fractured surface.

Splitface units offer a subtle look of chiseled stone, and their random surface textures add distinction. They can also be manufactured with ribs or scores to provide strong vertical lines in the finished wall.

Rough textures, like those available with splitface units, are often used in areas prone to graffiti, as the texture tends to discourage graffiti vandals.
